What is a paint collection?
 
The NBSWMD collects paint and paint products at it collection sheds in Cheshire, Williamstown and Hinsdale on specific dates from April through October.
 
"Paint" includes latex and oil-based paints, alkyd paint, polyurethane, stains, spray paint, hobby paints, varnish and water sealer.  Paint thinner and turpintine can also be brought.
 
There is a $2.00 per liquid gallon fee.  Cash or check are accepted.  Checks should be made out to:  NBSWMD
 
The Cheshire shed is located at the Cheshire Transfer Station, adjacent to the Highway Department Yard, 8 Main Street, Cheshire.
 
The Williamstown shed is located at the Williamstown Transfer Station, 675 Simonds Rd, Williamstown.
 
The Hinsdale Transfer Station is located at the Hinsdale Transfer Station, 106 Plunkett Reservoir Rd, Hinsdale.
 
District residents can bring paint to any paint shed.
